Food on the Level
Locally sourced, quality home cooked food,
seven days a week
Food on the Level is a licensed café and restaurant at Junction 24 Ltd, Sedgemoor Auction Centre, next to the large Robert Wiseman Dairy just off the M5.
We support our local farmers and they support us, market days on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays are a treat as the farming community gather to talk about the latest livestock prices over tasty bacon rolls or fantastic full English breakfasts.
We are an independent catering company with Food on the Level, our flagship restaurant opening back in the Summer of 2008. Proprietor, Andy Croker has a vision to provide a range of home cooked, locally sourced produce in spacious, airy surroundings with great views of the Quantock Hills.
Seating 84 inside, and a further 36 outside, the modern surroundings provide a relaxing environment and our ever changing specials board will offer the very best of whatever is in season at the time. There is always a good choice of sandwiches, paninis and jacket potatoes if you are just stopping off for a quick break with plenty of vegetarian options too.
With a further, smaller restaurant at Manheim Auctions in Ashton Vale, Bristol, life is busy for Andy and the team here. Food on the Level has been operating the catering requirements at Manheim Auction since 2006. Offering a range of home produced food and snacks. We also provide corporate events for onsite management guests and clients. But we don’t rest on our laurels, we are continuously looking at ways we can satisfy and grow our customer base even further so keep coming along to see how things change.
Why not bring the family to witness the hustle and bustle of a real livestock auction and help them understand more about farming and where their food comes from? Whatever your reason for visiting us, you can be guaranteed a warm welcome.
